In 2018, ACCJ (American Chamber of Commerce in Japan) has released a joint statement with 4 other chambers of commerce (British Chamber of Commerce in Japan, Australian and New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Japan, Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Japan and Ireland Japan Chamber of Commerce) to publish a viewpoint recommending to the Government of Japan the extension of ‘freedom to marry’ to LGBTQ+ couples as good for business in Japan and strengthening the country’s status on the international stage.
We, LGBT Finance support the statement.
2018年、在日米国商工会議所（ACCJ）はイギリス、オーストラリア・ニュージーランド、カナダ、アイルランドの商工会議所と共に日本政府に対して提言すべくLGBTQ+カップルの婚姻の自由を日本でのビジネス上のメリットや国際舞台における日本の地位向上を理由に表明いたしました。
